This time, we found ourselves at Stoffa in Kifisia, the restaurant that has been generously offering delicious experiences for the past 10 years in its beautiful indoor space and its two lush green courtyards.

It’s not common, but there are places that can lift our mood the moment we step through their doors—before we even taste their food or explore their culinary offerings, before we even take a seat at their tables. Stoffa, which is celebrating 10 years of successful presence in Kifisia’s demanding dining scene this year, undeniably belongs to this category.
Certainly, its two beautiful gardens and the warm, meticulously designed interior—with its blend of industrial and retro elements—contribute to that welcoming feeling you get from the very first moment. But, in the end, it’s always the food that leaves the lasting impression, and at Stoffa, flavor takes the spotlight.
In the truly magical detached house that hosts the restaurant, just a breath away from the bustling center of Kifisia, yet far enough to ensure the necessary peace and privacy, once stood the historic Tsalavoutas Tavern, known to true Kifisia locals as the most “in” tavern of its time.
The years passed, and the multifaceted Spyros Tsalavoutas, son of the original owner, decided to transform the beautiful venue into a modern restaurant with the values of a bygone era.
“Top-quality ingredients, seasonality, and respect for our guests are non-negotiable values for us at Stoffa. It starts from our owner, Mr. Spyros Tsalavoutas, and extends to all of us,” says Apostolos Takoulas, the restaurant’s Head Chef, with a smile.
We listened intently to the chef’s words, but at the same time, we couldn’t take our eyes off the blooming “secret” backyard, hidden behind the restaurant. It made us dream of relaxed summer nights with friends, sitting at the sturdy tables under the lush tree canopies.
The spaces at Stoffa will put you in serious dilemmas, as it will be impossible to choose your favorite spot. Between the open-hearted and beautiful front yard with its built-in sofas and colorful cushions, the elegant interior where wood and leather dominate, along with stunning retro details like industrial lights and the vintage wood-burning stove (the actual “Stofa”), and the hidden, massive backyard with flowers, meticulous decoration, and the truly magical al fresco bar, wrapped in greenery—each area is a unique experience of its own.
